Formulation and evaluation of polyherbal antidandruff shampoo

The main aim of this research is to formulate and evaluate polyherbal anti-dandruff shampoo against the Malassezia furfur, by using ingredients from natural sources. herbs were extracted simple decoction process. Most effective herbs-Shikakai, Reetha, Neem, Aloe vera, Hibiscus, Fenugreek, Onion juice, Sidar powder, Curry leaves chosen in order improve activity. formulations evaluated for physical appearance, pH, dirt dispersion, determination percent solid content, foam stability test, antimicrobial activity M skin irritation test testing. Stability studies conducted one month all three shows slight changes their physicochemical properties. From results, it may be concluded that First formulation meets requirements evaluation parameters which harmless cost effective.
